On March 13, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu attended the “Green Nitrogen Cycle” Strategic Symposium held at the Chang’an Campus of Shaanxi Normal University, where he chaired the discussion session and delivered closing remarks on behalf of the conference organizing committee.

Organized by the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at Shaanxi Normal University and the Ministry of Education Key Laboratory of Applied Surface and Colloid Chemistry, this conference aimed to conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge trends in the field of nitrogen activation and conversion, scientifically chart future development directions for the green nitrogen cycle, and provide guidance for the planning of national key research priorities. Academician Xi Zhenfeng of Peking University and Academician Li Jun of Tsinghua University attended the conference and presided over the report sessions. More than 40 experts and scholars from universities and research institutions participated in the event.
