Low Loss Dielectric Gradient Materials
Based on the long-term accumulation in colloid and interface chemistry, gel chemistry and composite materials, the team of Prof. Fang Yu of the Institute of New Concept Sensors and Molecular Materials of Shaanxi Normal University has taken the lead in the international research on template application of molecular gels. A family of high quality crosslinked polymer materials with large range adjustable density control, extremely low dielectric loss, large range adjustable dielectric constant control, excellent thermal properties and dielectric resistance, and environmentally-friendly green preparation process has been prepared by bulk polymerization using the small molecule gelling agent-based gel emulsion as template.
The product has the following characteristics: (1) The material density can be controlled in a wide range from 0.05 g/cm3 to the resin matrix material; (2) The dielectric loss of the material is extremely low, which can be controlled within 1/1000, and the dielectric constant can be precisely regulated between 1.1 and the resin matrix material, and the dielectric constant can be regulated in a wider range through organic and inorganic composite; (3) The thermal properties of the material are excellent, the thermal deformation temperature of the first generation material can reach 160 ℃, and the thermal deformation temperature of the second generation material is expected to reach 220 ℃; (4) The material has excellent dielectric resistance and can withstand acids, alkalis, salts and most organic reagents; (5) Excellent casting performance; (6) The pore size of the material is adjustable at the nanometer level and the distribution is uniform and fine; (7) Complete independent intellectual property rights, and the raw materials and production equipment are all from and made in China; (8) The preparation process is green and environmentally friendly, with basically no three wastes emissions.
This family of materials is expected to be widely used in radar, antenna, driver-less vehicle, aerocraft, communication terminal and other fields.
