On June 16, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu was invited to attend the Yanchang Petroleum “15th Five-Year Plan” Development Planning Symposium in Xi’an, where he joined 12 other academicians from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering to discuss scientific approaches and strategic measures for Yanchang Petroleum to serve and safeguard national energy security and promote the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of the petrochemical industry.
