On October 7, 2026, the Institute of New Concept Sensors and Molecular Materials at Shaanxi Normal University held a proposal Presentation and a graduate academic forum for Class 2028 doctoral students in the lecture hall. The event was moderated by Professors Ding Liping, Liu Kaiqiang, Liu Jing, Peng Junxia, Xue Dongxu, Bian Hongtao, Ma Jiani, and Liu Taihong in sections, and was attended by nearly 100 faculty, R&D engineers and graduate students from the institute.

Nineteen doctoral students from the institute and School of of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science presented reports on the progress of their research work, achievements made, and future plans for their dissertation projects, including Li Yidan, Sun Peidong, Zhou Jiancheng, Wei Hexi, Li Houlin, Gu Xue, Zhang Shenghui, Li Shufei, Qiu Zebiao, Wang Jingting, Zhao Xiaozhu, Su Jiaxin, Hu Hao, Dong Huanhuan, Yang Chun, Jiang Han majoring in Physical Chemistry, Ji Mengna, majoring in Inorganic Chemistry, Ji Mengyu, majoring in Physical Chemistry, and Xin Jinglin from School of of Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science.

After the proposal report, the graduate students answered the questions raised by the judges, discussed the relevant issues and the prospect of the future research and work with the teachers.

Finally, Prof. Fang Yu delivered closing remarks, encouraging supervisors and students to work together to produce meaningful research.
