On October 20, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu attended and spoke at a symposium for academicians, experts, and leading officials of Ankang City — a special event held as part of the 5th Annual Conference of the Shaanxi Provincial Association for Science and Technology — in Ankang, south Shaanxi province.

During the meeting, the academicians and experts, drawing on the findings of the thematic research conducted for the 5th Annual Conference and focusing on Ankang’s economic and social development needs, offered forward-looking suggestions and recommendations regarding industrial upgrading and technology-driven development in Ankang, thereby contributing their wisdom and expertise to the city’s high-quality economic and social development.

More than 60 people attended the symposium, including heads of relevant departments and units from the Shaanxi S&T Association and Ankang City, as well as members of provincial-level academic societies, the thematic research team, and enterprise representatives.
