On September 4, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu attended the launch ceremony for the 2026 Xi’an National Science Popularization Month main events, held at Chang’an Cloud  - Xi’an Science and Technology Museum, where he presented awards to the winners of the 40th National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition.

This event is expected to bring together more than 5,000 participants, including representatives from municipal-level departments, district and county science and technology associations, municipal-level academic societies, research institutions, technology companies, science education venues, hospitals, university researchers, community members, and students and teachers, reaching more than 300,000 people through both online and offline channels.
