On July 8, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu attended the National Science and Technology Awards Ceremony, the 22nd General Assembly of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the 18th General Assembly of of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the 11th National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology, held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.

On July 9, Fang Yu attended activities including the second plenary session of the Joint Conference of Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering.
