From July 10 to 13, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu and Prof. Bian Hongtao from the Institute of New Concept Sensors and Molecular Materials at Shaanxi Normal University attended the 11th National Seminar on the Teaching of Physical Chemistry (including Experiments) in Higher Education Institutions, held in Qingdao, Shandong Province, where they presented reports.

Fang Yu shared his insights on the collaborative talent development through research and teaching in a report titled “AI-Empowered Education in a New Stage of Development: Some of My Thoughts”. In his report titled “A Comparative Study of International Physical Chemistry Textbooks: The Section on Chemical Kinetics”, Bian Hongtao conducted a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences in the organization of kinetics content and pedagogical approaches among leading international textbooks, providing guidance for the development of domestic textbooks and the optimization of course curricula.

The conference was jointly organized by Ocean University of China, Nankai University, and Science Press, and was attended by nearly 200 scholars and backbone teachers from universities in China and abroad.
