On July 13, 2026, Qinghai Province vice governor Yang Zhiwen, along with other government and university officials attending the 9th Joint Conference of Universities Providing Pairing Assistance to Qinghai Normal University held at Shaanxi Normal University, visited the Institute of New Concept Sensors and Molecular Materials, accompanied by SNNU Party Secretary Li Xiaobing.

INCSMM vice dean Yang Xiaogang accompanied the visitors on a tour of the institute’s exhibition room, where he introduced the institute’s basic profile, research team, research overview, and development philosophy, and explained the commercialization of research achievements such as sensor technology and molecular gel materials.
