On July 27, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu attended the “7th Conference on Secondary School Chemistry Thinking Classes and the Exchange of Research Findings on ‘Core Competency Education’” held at the Chang’an Campus of Shaanxi Normal University, where he delivered a keynote report titled “AI-Empowered Education and Teaching in a New Phase of Development”.

Themed “People-Centered, Empowered by Digital Intelligence: Striving to Promote the In-Depth Development of Core Competency Education in Secondary School Chemistry”, the conference is jointly organized by the Editorial Department of Secondary School Chemistry Teaching Reference Materials at Shaanxi Normal University Press, SNNU School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and the Virtual Teaching and Research Office for Chemistry (Teacher Education) Program Development at Western Universities under the Ministry of Education.
