On August 22, 2026, Prof. Fang Yu was invited to Yantai’s Huangbohai New Area to attend the launch ceremony for the finals of the 2026 China College Students’ Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition: the “Bright Stone  Cup” Micro-Nano Sensing Technology and Intelligent Applications Competition.

Organized by the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering and jointly hosted by CSME’s Micro-Nano Manufacturing Technology Branch, the National Micro-Nano Manufacturing Innovation Center, and the Bright Stone Innovation (Yantai) Micro-Nano Sensing Technology Research Institute, among others, the competition is dedicated to identifying and nurturing outstanding innovative talent for the industry.
