Recently, the Photonics Technology Laboratory announced the list of science and technology projects approved for 2026, and the project titled “New Mechanisms for Intelligent Sensing Driven by the Control of Excited States in Condensates” by Prof. Liu Taihong of the Institute of New Concept Sensors and Molecular Materials at Shaanxi Normal University was approved for funding in the amount of CNY 300,000 yuan.

The Photonics Technology Laboratory is a comprehensive laboratory in Shaanxi Province that integrates “major scientific facilities, generic technology platforms, science and technology finance, and innovation consortia”. It is led by the Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as the chair unit, with Shaanxi Normal University serving as one of the co-founding institutions, and operates under Shaanxi Institute of Optoelectronics.
